Apparently we've invented robots with the ability to answer the telephone and no one told me. The following is an actual phone conversation I just had:
Phone rings several times and gets picked up
Person I'm about to discover is a robot: Hello.
Me: Hi, may I please speak to M*. **** ****?
Robot: No one is home right now. Who is this?

What's up with the blog Subject Line? I'm really hoping that's a reference to something and not just some bigoted crap. Especially since we JUST discussed gay rights and the narrow-minded people who won't allow them.

It's a reference to what one of the people involved in Star Wars called C3PO. My main point was that we are just years away from having protocol droids running around.
ReplyDeleteThis is a fear of many teachers, actually. That they'll replace humans with machines to teach our children from home, or in smaller groups. it's like using a machine to order your food. A small step, but it'll probably seep into restaurants and what not. And then we'll never have human interaction again!
